Holmsunds vård- och omsorgsboende consists of six units; three group homes, a short-term unit, a service house department and a group home located in Obbola.

We are now looking for a nurse!

Your duties

Within Umeå municipality, you work as a nurse with responsibility for health care interventions for our care recipients. The tasks include medical assessments, wound dressing, medication management, documentation and supervision of nursing staff. You ensure that the medical interventions are of good quality and work well in the daily work.

In the role, you work closely with care staff, paramedical professionals and managers in nursing and care homes, as well as coordinating contacts with doctors and other professionals in both primary care and inpatient care.

The working hours are scheduled during the day and weekends.

About you

As a nurse in the municipality, you and your nursing colleagues have the highest medical competence. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy taking responsibility, have good initiative and contribute to good communication in collaboration with other professions. Of course, you have a good and respectful treatment in contact with care recipients and relatives.

Requirements

• Legitimized nurse
• B-driving license
• Good knowledge of the Swedish and English language in speech and writing
• Valid extract from the criminal record

Meritande

• Further training in the care of the elderly, district or psychiatry

In the workplace there may be furry animals (dogs and cats) and people who smoke so you should not be allergic. Heavy lifting may occur but aids are available.
