Your work tasks As a nurse in Umeå municipality's Elderly Care, you work with health and medical care interventions, including assessments, wound dressing, handling medicines, documenting and supervising other staff. You are responsible for ensuring that the medical interventions work well for our users and coordinate contacts with doctors and other professional groups in primary care and hospitals. The positions are limited in time until. 2026-01-31 but there is a good possibility of continuation. About you We are looking for you who are a registered nurse. Experience as a nurse is an advantage but not a requirement. As a nurse in the municipality, you and your nursing colleagues have the highest medical competence. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy taking responsibility, have good initiative and contribute to good communication in collaboration with other professions. Of course, you have a good and respectful treatment in contact with care recipients, relatives and others you come into contact with. The work requires you to have a B driving license. In nursing and care homes, working hours are during the day with weekend duty every six weekends. In home care, working hours are divided into day, evening and weekend. Sparse evening work with about 3 evenings in 12 weeks and weekend work every 6th weekend. The workplace may have furry animals and people who smoke so you should not be allergic.
