The Aktrisen nursing and care home is located in the scenic sculpture park in the Umedal area of Umeå. The building has been tastefully renovated, preserving its beautiful architecture—with high ceilings and deep window recesses—while incorporating modern materials and standards. We are a residence for people with dementia and have 48 apartments spread across three floors.

Your Responsibilities
With a professional approach and a kind demeanor, you’ll assist our residents in their daily lives. The focus is on the residents’ right to have a say, and you’ll help ensure that care services are provided to a high standard, in accordance with care decisions and implementation plans.
You’ll assist with tasks such as showering, laundry, cleaning, meals, and other services. Your duties will also include documenting care procedures and health status, as well as performing medical tasks as delegated by the responsible nurse. The work involves heavy lifting; lifting aids must be used.
Work hours are scheduled for day, evening, and weekend shifts.
About You
We are looking for a certified nursing assistant with experience in healthcare and long-term care. To communicate with residents, family members, and colleagues, write and review care documentation, and receive medication delegation, you must have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
Your interactions with residents require strong professional competence based on maturity, a sense of responsibility, and a well-developed capacity for empathy. You demonstrate a strong commitment to both residents and the organization, which is evident in your relationships and actions. You work independently and demonstrate patience and the ability to take initiative in various situations. You also have a very strong ability to collaborate and work together with colleagues, family members, and other professionals. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
