Elderly care services in the Municipality of Umeå aim to be a resource that, through proximity and collaboration, empowers and strengthens people’s ability to live independently.
The Bruksbacken nursing and assisted living facility is located in a scenic area along the Sävarån River, just a few minutes’ walk from downtown Sävar, where you’ll find shops and a pharmacy. The surroundings offer walking paths and seating areas for outdoor recreation. Bruksbacken has 51 apartments spread across five units. There is also a facility for short-term care on-site.
We are now looking for you to work as a temporary nursing staff member with us!
Your Responsibilities
Through a warm and caring approach and a professional work ethic, you will assist our residents in their daily lives. You will provide personal care and, as delegated by the nurse in charge, perform medical tasks. Your duties will also include documenting care procedures and health status. You will also serve as a point of contact, which means you will be responsible for ensuring that the goals and interventions outlined in the care decision and implementation plan are communicated and carried out to a high standard, with a focus on the resident’s right to participate in decision-making
Work hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.
About You
We are looking for someone with strong professional competence based on maturity, a sense of responsibility, and well-developed empathy. You demonstrate a strong commitment to both service users and the organization, which is evident in your relationships and actions. You work independently and show patience and initiative in various situations. You also have a very strong ability to collaborate and work together with colleagues, family members, and other professionals. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
