The home care service is also responsible for responding to and handling social alarms that occur at night. The night patrol works throughout Umeå municipality and operates on the basis of geographical divisions to maintain good continuity. The night patrol's customers are of all ages from 18 years and upwards and with different needs for interventions, examples of interventions that the night patrol performs are personal care, supervision and health care interventions. The night patrol's goal is to provide security and care to those who need interventions at night. Your work tasks As a nursing staff in the night patrol, you carry out planned visits and answer security alarms during the night and also perform supervision via security camera. Fixed visits are carried out at approximate times and alarms are always prioritized based on a priority list. Together, our mission is to enable the elderly or disabled person to remain in their home for as long as they wish. You work on the basis of the mission, where the customer's participation is in focus. This ensures that interventions are carried out with good quality according to the assistance decision and implementation plan. About you We are looking for you who have experience of nursing work. We would like you to be a trained assistant nurse, but this is not a requirement. We look positively if you have experience of working at night and have had delegation before. You enjoy working independently and have good computer skills. As a person, you have high integrity, are responsive and empathetic. You have a good ability to cooperate with colleagues and other professions. You show a great commitment to both users and activities in all relationships and actions. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and take part in care documentation and obtain medication, it is required that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. For work in the night patrol, a B driving license is required. As animals and smoking may occur, you should not be allergic.
