Holmsund's nursing home is centrally located in Holmsund with direct proximity to a health center, pharmacy and grocery store. Holmsunds vård- och omsorgsboende consists of six units; three care and nursing units, a short-term unit, a service house unit and a care and nursing unit located in Obbola. Your work tasks In this role, you will be responsible for providing our residents with good, safe and secure care based on their individual needs. Tasks include helping with personal care, meals, medication management, activities and outdoor activities. On delegation from the nurse in charge, you will carry out medical tasks and be responsible for documenting completed interventions, measures and the residents' state of health in accordance with current procedures. You contribute to a meaningful and safe everyday life through a professional approach and good treatment. As a contact person, you work with the resident's participation and self-determination in focus, and ensure that the efforts are carried out with high quality in accordance with the assistance decision and implementation plan. Working hours are day, evening and weekend. About you We are looking for you who have experience in care, preferably in elderly care. We see it as an advantage if you are a trained nurse or care assistant. It is also positive if you have previously had medication delegation. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and take part in care documentation and obtain medication, it is required that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Your encounter with the residents requires good skills based on personal suitability, maturity and empathic ability. You show great commitment to both users and the organization in all relationships and actions. You enjoy working independently and are patient and proactive. You have a good ability to cooperate and interact with colleagues, relatives and other professionals. Heavy lifting occurs, transfer aids must be used.
