Elderly care in Umeå municipality wants to be a resource that frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life in proximity and interaction. Lundagård care home is located at Sofiehem, about 4 km from the center of Umeå, near Norrland University Hospital and Ålidhem Church. The home is newly built and opened in the fall of 2019. Lundagård is a collaborative house, which means that other municipal activities are also located in the house: preschool and kitchen. The approximately 100 children who attend the preschool have their outdoor environment in connection with the housing's outdoor environment and in the preparation kitchen a large number of food portions are cooked and distributed to homes and preschools around Umeå municipality. We are now looking for a new colleague to work during the night, do you want to be part of our dedicated team? Your work tasks You will assist the residents with personal care and perform medical tasks as delegated by the nurse in charge. The tasks also include documenting actions and health status. You also work on the basis of the assignment as a contact person, where the elderly's co-determination is in focus. In this way, you ensure that interventions are carried out with good quality according to the assistance decision and implementation plan. Working hours are at night both weekdays and weekends. About you In the meeting with residents, high personal competence is required, where maturity, empathy and good judgment are crucial to create security and trust. You show a strong commitment to both users and operations through a respectful and professional approach in all contexts. You enjoy working independently and are patient and proactive in your approach. At the same time, you have a good ability to cooperate and interact with colleagues, relatives and other professions. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. Requirements: Experience of night work in special housing Experience in alarm management, delegation and documentation Experience of palliative care Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing, to be able to communicate with the residents, relatives and colleagues, write and take part in care documentation and obtain medication delegation Meritorious: Trained assistant nurse, care assistant or similar training Heavy lifting occurs, transfer aids must be used.
