At Umeå Norra short-term center on Mariehemsvägen, we work with recovery and everyday rehabilitation. Our activities are designed to give each resident the best possible support to regain their abilities and be able to live at home for as long as possible. You will work in bright and modern premises with 64 apartments spread over four floors. Here you will find a working environment that promotes both well-being and development - a rehabilitation-adapted gym, a cozy visitor's room and a lush patio for recovery and socializing. We are now looking for temporary nursing staff! Your tasks Care needs are different and we work person-centered to help individuals based on their different conditions. Common tasks are personal care and hygiene in the resident's room. We see what is healthy in the person and help to preserve the abilities that exist. On delegation from the nurse in charge, you will carry out medical tasks and be responsible for documenting the interventions carried out, measures and the residents' state of health in accordance with current procedures. You work on the basis of the assignment as a contact person, where the resident's participation is in focus. In this way, you ensure that interventions are carried out with good quality according to the assistance decision and implementation plan. About you In the meeting with the residents, high competence is required, which is based on personal maturity, good empathic ability and suitability for the assignment. You show a genuine commitment to both users and the business in your relationships and in your daily work. You thrive on working independently and are patient, responsible and proactive. At the same time, you have a well-developed ability to cooperate and interact with colleagues, relatives and other professionals. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability. For all positions, we are looking for you who have experience of care and care work in elderly care. We would like you to be a trained nurse or care assistant, but this is not a requirement. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and take part in care documentation and obtain medication, it is required that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Other positions Two temporary positions, full time, starting 2026-03-01 up to and including 2026-08-31. Working hours are day, evening and weekend.
