Prästsjögården's nursing and care home has 70 apartments divided into six units. Prästsjögården is located in the scenic sculpture park in the Umedals area, which invites you to spend time outdoors in beautiful surroundings. Each unit has a large patio or balcony that is used whenever the weather permits. We are now looking for several substitute nursing staff for our business! Your tasks You will assist the residents with personal care and, on delegation from the nurse in charge, perform medical tasks. The tasks also include documenting actions and health status. You work on the basis of the assignment as a contact person, where the resident's participation is in focus. In this way, you ensure that interventions are carried out with good quality according to the assistance decision and implementation plan. The services are scheduled day, evening and weekend. About you We are looking for you who have previous experience of working with dementia care. If you are a trained assistant nurse or care assistant, it is an advantage, and if you have previously worked in elderly care. Your encounter with residents requires good skills based on personal suitability, maturity and empathic ability. You show a great commitment to both users and activities in all relationships and actions. You enjoy working independently and are patient and proactive. You have a good ability to cooperate and interact with colleagues, relatives and other professionals. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and read care documentation and receive medication, you must have a good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
