Teg's elderly center is beautifully located by the river at Teg. The accommodation consists of 10 units with between 7-12 apartments in each. Here we provide care and care to the elderly, people with multiple illnesses and especially people with dementia. Your tasks You will assist residents with personal care, meal preparation, cleaning and activities. Your role will also include performing medical tasks as delegated by the nurse in charge. The tasks also include documenting actions and health status. You work on the basis of the assignment as a contact person where the resident's participation is in focus. In this way, you ensure that interventions are carried out with good quality according to the assistance decision and implementation plan. About you We are looking for you with at least upper secondary education and experience of care work, preferably in elderly care. We look positively if you are a trained assistant nurse or care assistant. We place great emphasis on personal suitability in this recruitment. In your encounter with the residents, you are required to be empathetic, driven and solution-focused and possess a personal maturity. You show great commitment to both users and the organization in all relationships and actions. You enjoy working independently and have a good ability to cooperate and interact with colleagues, relatives and other professionals. As the position has a Sami profile, it is an advantage if you have knowledge of Sami culture and/or language. Heavy lifting occurs in the workplace. Working hours are day, evening and weekend.
