Väst-Tegs vård- och omsorgsboende is a municipal newly built accommodation located at Väst-Teg. The accommodation opened in the fall of 2024 and consists of six floors. In total there are 120 apartments divided into 12 units and each unit consists of 10 apartments. Each unit has its own spacious balcony. On the ground floor there is a café and a glazed patio. There is also a production kitchen on the Väst-Teg premises. The production kitchen prepares meals that are distributed to homes and schools around Umeå municipality. We are now looking for four new dedicated colleagues for Väst-teg! Your work tasks With a professional approach and good treatment, you assist our residents in their everyday lives. The resident's co-determination is in focus and you help to ensure that efforts are carried out, with good quality, according to the assistance decision and implementation plan. You will assist with personal hygiene, laundry, cleaning, meals and other services. The tasks also include documentation of measures and health status as well as medical tasks based on delegation from the nurse in charge. The positions are located on the somatic unit. About you We are looking for you with an approved upper secondary school diploma who have previous experience of working in elderly care and have delegated medication. We look positively if you have a care education, e.g. as an assistant nurse or care assistant. It is also meritorious if you have had additional delegations such as insulin, as well as if you have been responsible for documentation or alarm representatives. Your interaction with residents requires good skills based on personal suitability, maturity and empathy. You demonstrate a high level of commitment to both residents and the organization in all relationships and actions. You enjoy working independently, are patient and show initiative. You have the ability to cooperate with colleagues, relatives and other professionals. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and read care documentation and obtain medication, you must have a good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
