We are the unit that handles all care services where our users live in their own homes in Umeå municipality. Most of our staff are assistant nurses who we continuously train. The home care service is also responsible for responding to and handling social alarms that occur at night. We are now looking for you who want to work in the Ålidhem area! Your work tasks We are looking for you who, through good treatment and a professional approach, assist our elderly in their everyday lives with, among other things, personal hygiene, transfers, preparation of food and giving medicine. The goal is to enable the elderly to remain in their home for as long as they wish. You work on the basis of the assignment, where the customer's participation is in focus. This ensures that interventions are carried out with good quality according to the assistance decision and implementation plan. Working hours are day, evening and weekend. About you We would like to see that you are a trained assistant nurse, care assistant or equivalent, but it is not a requirement. However, we see that you have experience of care, preferably in elderly care and/or home care. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and take part in care documentation and obtain medication, it is required that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. As a person, you have high integrity, are responsive, empathetic and you enjoy working independently. You show a great commitment to both users and operations in all relationships and actions. Heavy lifting occurs, transfer aids must be used. Furry animals and smoking may occur in the workplace so you should not be allergic. It is also required that you have a B driving license and/or can cycle both in summer and winter. Other positions - Two temporary positions, full time, with planned start 2025-01-05 until 2026-06-14. - One position temporary, full-time, with planned start as soon as possible by agreement until 2026-06-14.
