Your work tasks As a care worker in the municipal home care service, you are responsible for planning and carrying out care work in people's own homes. The aim is to enable the elderly or disabled person to remain in their home for as long as they wish. You work on the basis of the mission, where the user's participation is in focus. This ensures that interventions are carried out with good quality according to the assistance decision and implementation plan. On delegation from the nurse, you also distribute medicine to those who need it. About you We are looking for you who have experience of working in elderly care. It is an advantage if you are a trained assistant nurse or care assistant. As a person, you have high integrity, are responsive, empathetic and you enjoy working both independently and in groups. You show a great commitment to both users and operations in all relationships and actions. We therefore attach great importance to personal suitability. To work with us, you need to have a B driving license. You also need to be able to cycle in summer and winter. As many of our elderly have animals in their homes, you should not be allergic. There may also be smoking. The work includes heavy lifting, lifting aids are used after delegation. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and take part in care documentation and receive medication, you must have a good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
