At the care and nursing program, students are trained for a meaningful profession where they have the opportunity to help people and contribute to the development and success of others. At Dragonskolan, you are involved in training the nurses of the future for work in the municipality and region.

Your duties

You are responsible for planning, implementing and following up teaching in, among other things, anatomy and physiology, functional ability and disability, gerontology and geriatrics, health care, nursing and psychiatry.

The role also includes following up the students' learning during their workplace learning (APL), which involves visits to the students' internships. You are a mentor for a group of students and actively contribute to their knowledge and personal development.

About you

You are a clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment, structure and context for all students. You differentiate and vary teaching based on the needs of the students. You share your knowledge and experience to contribute to collegial learning. An important part of the teaching role is to build good relationships with students, colleagues and guardians. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Requirements

  • We are primarily looking for you who are trained and licensed nursing teachers or you who have equivalent experience in health and care.
  • Licensed nurse and / or assistant nurse.
  • B-driving license.
  • Valid extract from the criminal record, as a result of the law on suitability control.

Advantageous

  • HLR-trainer.
  • Familiar with current national policy documents and good knowledge and experience of assessment and grading.
