We are now looking for a licensed occupational therapist for the Disability Care Service!

Your duties

As an occupational therapist in the Disability Care Service, you are responsible for habilitation and rehabilitation for people in special homes and daily activities according to LSS. You are responsible for the usual occupational therapy tasks to improve or maintain the individual's ability to perform meaningful activities in their everyday life.

You ensure that the efforts work well for our users and coordinate contacts with other professional groups within the municipality and with healthcare providers within Region Västerbotten. The work also involves supervising smaller and larger staff groups.

About you

You have good initiative and a solution-focused approach, with the ability to think in new ways based on the needs of the individual. You work independently and take responsibility for your tasks, while seeing cooperation with other professions as a natural prerequisite for good quality in the efforts. The individual is always an active and involved party in the work. You have a good and respectful treatment, are responsive and communicative in the meeting with both users and relatives. You value clear communication and actively contribute to good collaboration with colleagues and external actors. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Requirements

• Legitimized occupational therapist
• Experience of the profession
• B-driving license
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

Additional

• Experience of work as an occupational therapist with people within LSS

Heavy lifting occurs, transfer aids should be used.

Smoking and furry animals may occur in the workplace so you should not be allergic.
