Elderly care services in the Municipality of Umeå aim to be a resource that, through proximity and collaboration, empowers and strengthens people’s ability to live independently.

Skräddaren’s assisted living facility is centrally located in Teg, about 1.5 km from downtown Umeå, close to the Ume River and beautiful green spaces. The facility has 47 apartments spread across three floors, with each floor consisting of two smaller units.

We are now looking for a temporary operations administrator!

Your Responsibilities

As an operations administrator with us, you will follow the current goals and procedures of the facility, with a particular focus on staffing procedures. You are expected to be a good representative of the organization in your interactions with employees, family members, residents, and partners.

The role is broad; examples of responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing short-term absences in collaboration with the Elderly Care Recruitment Center
  • Working in our Multiaccess scheduling system and SharePoint
  • Payroll-related tasks
  • Providing support for technical and facility-related issues and, when necessary, contacting our IT support/facilities department
  • Placing and managing orders via Beställartorget and Proceedo
  • Responsibility for practical details such as access cards, name tags, work clothes, and mail handling

About You

We’re looking for someone with strong prioritization skills who can work independently. You thrive in a role with many points of contact and enjoy interacting with people on a daily basis. You are organized and find it easy to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The healthcare and social services sector, like society at large, is characterized by constant development and change. Therefore, the ability to collaborate, flexibility, and a solution-oriented approach are essential qualities for meeting the organization’s needs in the best possible way. We also believe you are someone who wants to grow alongside the role and the organization. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

To communicate with patients, family members, and colleagues, write and review care documentation, and receive medication delegation, you must have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.

We are looking for someone with experience in:

  • Scheduling and short-term staffing
  • Ordering supplies and managing invoices in Proceedo
  • Absence management in Personec P and Multiaccess
  • The Salto system

Employment Information

This is a full-time temporary position, starting as soon as possible by mutual agreement and continuing through August 1, 2027. Working hours are during the day, Monday through Friday.
