
Elderly care services in the Municipality of Umeå aim to be a resource that, through proximity and collaboration, empowers and strengthens people’s ability to live independently.
Skräddaren’s assisted living facility is centrally located in Teg, about 1.5 km from downtown Umeå, close to the Ume River and beautiful green spaces. The facility has 47 apartments spread across three floors, with each floor consisting of two smaller units.
We are now looking for two new colleagues to help us staff up for the weekends!
Your Responsibilities
You will primarily work on weekends, providing personal care to our residents and performing medical tasks as delegated by the nurse in charge. Your duties will also include documenting procedures and health status. You will work according to the care plan, with a focus on the resident’s right to participate in decision-making. In this way, you will ensure that care is provided to a high standard in accordance with the care decision and implementation plan
About You
Interactions with residents require a high level of personal competence, where maturity, empathy, and good judgment are crucial for creating a sense of security and trust. You demonstrate a strong commitment to both residents and the organization through a respectful and professional approach in all situations. You enjoy working independently and are patient and proactive in your approach to work. At the same time, you have a strong ability to collaborate and work together with colleagues, family members, and other professionals. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.

Additional Information
Two positions: special fixed-term employment, part-time (approx. 22%), starting August 1, 2026, or as agreed, through January 31, 2027. Work hours are scheduled for the weekend.
