Payroll and Pensions is part of the municipality's HR unit and is centrally located at the City Management Office. We support Umeå and Vindeln municipalities in payroll and personnel administration, both consultatively and operationally, and are responsible for processing salaries, fees and pensions for employees and elected representatives. Your tasks As a payroll consultant, you will provide consultative and operational support to managers, staff, elected representatives and other partners. You provide support and train managers and employees in the application of laws, agreements, processes and working methods, as well as in the use of personnel and payroll systems. You work to create good relationships and have a professional approach in your contacts. Processing payroll administration tasks: You carry out registrations, various checks and correct incorrect payroll data. You provide feedback to managers and staff and follow up on processes and procedures to increase understanding and reduce the risk of incorrect payroll payments in the future. Actively contribute to the development of the business: You will keep up to date with changes in contracts and systems and train and support colleagues in your area. You will actively participate in development work and provide suggestions on how we can work proactively and holistically. Contribute to an open and creative climate: You encourage different perspectives and work well with others. You dare to try new ideas and contribute to simple and effective solutions. About you You have a post-secondary education as a payroll specialist or equivalent university education. You have experience of working independently in a consultative role in payroll administration and customer support. We would like you to have experience of payroll administration in the Personec P payroll system and experience of municipal agreements. You enjoy working both independently and with others.
