A personal assistant helps someone with basic needs, such as eating, dressing, washing and communicating. Your work tasks As a personal assistant, you provide support and assistance in the user's everyday life. You help with nursing, medication, transfers, meals and personal hygiene. The work also includes interventions in palliative care as well as the handling of probe, PEG, cough machine, mucus suction and C-PAP. About you We would like to see that you have experience of working in healthcare, preferably in palliative care. If you are also a trained nurse and/or have experience with a probe, C-PAP, cough machine and lifting, this is also an advantage. However, the above are not requirements, but we attach great importance to your personal suitability. We are looking for a confident, calm and empathetic person who naturally creates trust when meeting others. You have the ability to listen, read situations and adapt your approach to the user's individual needs and daily routine. It is important that you are responsible, have a respectful approach and can work closely with both users and others in the user's vicinity. In order for you to be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and take part in care documentation and obtain medication, you must have a good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
