A personal assistant helps someone with basic needs, such as eating, dressing, washing and communicating. Your tasks You will work as a personal assistant for a woman in her 40s who is wheelchair-bound and lives in Umeå city center. Your mission is to provide support in both everyday life and leisure, and you will be an important part of creating security, structure and quality of life. The work is varied and may include: Support in personal care Help with everyday chores such as cooking, baking and housework Walks, activities and outings Social activities and other elements that create a meaningful everyday life Transportation is part of the job and there are furry pets in the home. Working hours are day/evening/night and weekends. About you We attach great importance to personal suitability. You need to be confident, responsive and have a positive attitude. If you like to cook, bake or go for walks, this is a big plus as it is part of the user's everyday life. We would like you to have experience or training in health and social care, but this is not a requirement - the right personality and commitment are most important. In order for you to be able to communicate with users and colleagues, write and take part in care documentation and obtain medication, it is required that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
