We at LSS Health and Medical Care are a team of nurses, physical therapists, and occupational therapists. As a physical therapist, you will be responsible for health and medical care within your area of expertise at residential facilities for people with disabilities where residents have LSS decisions. The target group consists primarily of adults with some form of disability—a fantastic group to work with!
We’re now looking for someone who wants to work as a temporary staff member with us for one year!
Your Responsibilities
As a physical therapist, you’ll work to create the conditions that allow each individual to live as independently as possible. Your work will include assessing patients’ functional abilities and mobility, and then providing recommendations and instructions for mobility techniques and exercise programs. Writing medical reports, prescribing assistive devices, and providing guidance to care staff are common duties.
About You
As a person, you have strong collaboration skills and enjoy working in a team while also taking responsibility for your own performance. You believe that a professional and friendly demeanor—perhaps with a touch of humor—is a valuable tool for building good relationships with patients and colleagues. You are a positive and dedicated colleague who wants to help develop our practice. In our recruitment process, we will place great emphasis on personal fit.
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications
The job involves physically demanding tasks, and you’ll be expected to use patient-handling equipment in your work. Since smoking and pets may be present in the workplace, you should not have any allergies.
Would you like to be part of shaping the future of rehabilitation? Do you want a job where your efforts make a meaningful difference in other people’s lives? If so, please submit an application!
