Ersängsskolan is located in Östra Ersboda and is a multicultural F-9 school that is divided into several smaller schools. There is also an adapted primary school focusing on subject areas and resource classes for the whole municipality. In total, there are around 400 pupils at the school. We have one of Sweden's best school libraries and nearby there is a football pitch and adventure playground. Our dedicated teachers focus on a language development approach with the goal that everyone should meet the knowledge requirement. Ersängsskolan is one of Umeå municipality's training schools, which means that during the academic year we receive student teachers on their practical training, VFU. We are now looking for a substitute teacher for grades 4-6, with qualifications in SO and math! Form of employment The position is a temporary position, part-time 80%, starting soon by agreement until 2026-06-17. Work tasks In this position you will teach SO and math for grades 4-6. You will also be a mentor for students in grade 6. You work in close collaboration with your team and other educators at the school. Cooperation and teaching also takes place with other teachers in the grade. About you You create good conditions for learning through clear leadership that makes teaching accessible and adapts. As a person, you are flexible, structured, responsible and able to plan, organize and prioritize your work effectively. Building relationships is an important part of the role.
