We have about 180 students from preschool class through to year 5. We have an organization where each year group is a single large class and in each class two class teachers and one to two leisure educators work together. We are now looking for a primary school teacher to teach in the middle school! Employment information The position is a permanent position, full time, with planned start as soon as possible by agreement. Your tasks This position involves a shared assignment during the current school year. Approximately half of the working time you are active as a teacher mainly in Swedish and SO at the middle school, including mentorship. The remaining part of the position involves work as a special education teacher, with interventions in various classes and participation in the school's student health team. Next academic year, the position will transition to a more pure teaching assignment with class teaching in the middle school, possibly with a smaller part remaining as a special education teacher. The position also includes caretaking during breaks. In your work, you are responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating and improving our activities. In collaboration with teams and colleagues, you are responsible for driving and developing the educational work with the curriculum and municipal goals as a benchmark. Contact and cooperation with parents is an important part of the work. About you You are a clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment, structure and context for all students. You are well versed in the school's governing documents. You differentiate and vary teaching based on the needs of the students. You share your knowledge and experience to contribute to collegial learning. An important part of the teaching role is to build good relationships with pupils, colleagues and guardians. Great importance is attached to personal suitability. Requirements Teacher's license and qualification for current grades 4-6 Experience of working with children with linguistic vulnerability Valid extract from the criminal record Good knowledge of Swedish and English language in speech and writing Meritorious Education as a special education teacher, speech therapist, linguistic vulnerability or similar Experience as a special educator/special teacher Experience of mapping work or investigations with questions about language abilities Work in student health teams or equivalent A warm welcome with your application!
