Grubbeskolan is a school for students in grades 7-9.
We have a schoolyard and an artificial grass pitch that invites activity. Our focus is on knowledge, security and well-being. There are also profile classes in music. The staff is competent and committed and we have good parental cooperation. Grubbeskolan is one of Umeå municipality's training schools, which means that during the academic year we receive student teachers on their practical training, VFU. We are now looking for a primary school teacher with qualifications in NO for grades 7-9!
Employment information
The service refers to a temporary position, full time, with planned start 2026-01-07 until 2026-06-17. Possible possibility of extension.
Work tasks
Your task as a teacher in primary school is to plan and implement teaching based on the curriculum, but also to do more comprehensive planning together with colleagues. You will individually and together with colleagues follow up, evaluate and analyze teaching and assess and document students' knowledge development. You are responsible for creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that contributes to students' goal achievement. As a teacher, you are responsible for informing pupils and their guardians about their learning progress.
Depending on any additional qualifications, teaching may also take place in that subject. The position also involves shared mentoring of a class.
About you
You are a clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment, structure and context for all students. You are well versed in the school's governing documents. You differentiate and vary teaching based on the needs of the students. You share your knowledge and experience to contribute to collegial learning. Building good relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents is an important part of the teaching role.
Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
Requirements
Teacher's license and qualification for science in grades 7-9
Experience of working in a school
Valid extract from the criminal record
Good knowledge of Swedish language in speech and writing
Meritorious
Qualification in more subjects
Experience of teaching in upper secondary school
