We are now looking for a teacher in science and math who wants to be an important part of our middle school team! Your work tasks You will teach science and math in grades 7-9. The full-time assignment also includes being a mentor in a grade 7 class, as well as tutoring individual students. As a tutor, you should be able to arouse curiosity in the students and stimulate them to seek knowledge themselves. In collaboration with the team and colleagues, you are responsible for driving and developing the educational work with the curriculum and municipal goals as a benchmark. Contact and cooperation with parents is an important part of the work. About you We are looking for you who are authorized to teach science and mathematics in grades 7-9. You have a teaching license / have applied for a license. You have experience of working in upper secondary school and we would like you to have experience of teaching as a primary school teacher. You are familiar with the school's governing documents and have the ability to individualize and vary teaching based on the needs of the students. You are a clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create structure, context and good relationships. You have knowledge of assessment and grading. We also believe that you have experience in teaching students with special needs. In order for you to be able to develop the pupils' language skills and be able to communicate with pupils, guardians and colleagues, document and take part in the school's governing documents, you must have a good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. If you have a teaching license, attach it. As a result of the law on suitability control, an extract from the police's criminal record must be presented upon employment.
