Would you like to help shape the future of social services?
With us, you’ll work alongside dedicated colleagues to drive quality and development initiatives forward within Support and Care. As a process leader, you’ll play a key role in the transition to high-quality social services that are preventive, accessible, knowledge-based, and promote equal and equitable living conditions
The Support and Care Administration is responsible for three core areas of operation: the exercise of public authority, disability care, and individual and family care. Our mission is to meet the needs for support and care and to create the conditions for people to live safe and independent lives. The administration has two main processes, which are based on the board’s core mission. They describe the support we provide to citizens. The main processes have been broken down into eight sub-processes that describe in more detail how the committee works to ensure that the needs of the various target groups covered by the core mission are met.
Within the administration, there are three perspectives: finance, HR, and quality. Within the quality perspective is the Unit for Systematic Quality Work, whose mission is to participate in and create the conditions for systematic quality work, in accordance with the board’s management system for systematic quality work. This includes, for example, work related to the requirements and goals that apply to the operations, identifying and developing processes and procedures, operational follow-ups and statistics, quality analysis, and continuous improvement. The unit may also be responsible for coordination during audits, inspections, and quality assessments.
The unit consists of staff members with various roles within systematic quality assurance and is led by the Quality Manager. In addition to process leaders, the unit also includes a Social Responsibility Coordinator (SAS), a Nurse in Charge of Medical Care (MAS), coordinators, a coordinator for the transition to the new Social Services Act, a project manager for implementing the comorbidity reform, and a children’s rights strategist within the unit.
