Your work tasks As a procurement officer in Umeå municipality, you will have a central role. You lead the entire process, from planning, to tender documents, to evaluation, contracts and follow-up. Legislation is your tool, but the goal is always to create commercial and sustainable business that creates benefits for both the municipality's operations and the residents/citizens. The work is varied and you will run several projects simultaneously in different areas. You will collaborate daily with the municipality's activities, experts and external parties. You are an important support to the activities in procurement issues and build relationships with suppliers and other external stakeholders. About you We would like you to have a degree in purchasing/procurement, for example from a vocational college or university. If you have other work experience that we consider equivalent, it is also interesting. Previous experience of procurement is an advantage.
