As a property manager with us, you will have a strategic and varied role where you create long-term well-functioning premises for everything from preschools and schools to health and care properties.
In the role, you represent Umeå municipality as a property owner, landlord and premises provider and ensure that our business premises work technically, functionally and economically - today and in the long term. Due to a retirement, we are now looking for you who want to combine your real estate expertise with overall responsibility, process management and meaningful community development.
About us
Fastighet is one of Umeå's major developers and managers of premises. We manage about 870,000 m2 of our own properties and rent about 200,000 m2.We run both advanced management and new production of technically complex and socially important buildings.
You will be part of an experienced team of property managers where cooperation, professionalism and good judgment are central. Together, we develop and adapt the municipality's premises in line with the needs of its activities and the growth of the city.

It is an advantage if you have training in economics or law, as well as experience of coordination, project management or process management.
An important part of the role is to create and maintain good relationships. Therefore, you need to be responsive, service-oriented and confident in your professional approach - whether you collaborate with colleagues, businesses or external actors. You see the big picture, prioritize well and communicate clearly with different target groups.
You express yourself well in Swedish in speech and writing, have basic knowledge of English and hold a B driving license.
