Your work tasks As a property manager, you represent Umeå Municipality as a supplier of premises, property owner and landlord. The tasks include premises planning and acquisition by initiating new production and leases as well as management and decommissioning of premises. It involves overall responsibility for planning, initiating and coordinating events and processes, as well as responsibility for budget and customer contacts throughout the life cycle of the property. You will work in a team of property managers and also work closely with construction project managers and operational area managers. About you To succeed in this role, we believe that you have a technical university degree, preferably with a focus on construction/management, or equivalent knowledge. A higher education degree in economics or law would be an advantage. You have an understanding and knowledge of the technical context of construction, the possibilities and limitations of premises. Experience in coordination, project or process management is an asset. As the position entails overall responsibility for finance, an interest and good understanding of budgeting and forecasting is required. A large part of the position involves building and maintaining both internal and external customer relationships, which is why good service awareness, responsiveness and a professional approach are required. You have the ability to lift your gaze and see the big picture while having a good ability to prioritize. We assume that you have a good command of the Swedish language and that you are a good communicator and find it easy to express yourself in both speech and writing. Your ability to cooperate is good and you create good long-term relationships with colleagues, customers and other partners. A B driving license is a requirement.
