We are now looking for a psychologist to join our team!

Your Responsibilities

The interventions are carried out in accordance with the Health and Medical Care Act (HSL) and are based on each student’s individual needs and circumstances. The work includes, among other things, individual sessions with students, assessments of cognitive functions, and standard duties for a psychologist in habilitation.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team where you will contribute your psychological expertise and be responsible for a number of student cases. The role involves coordinating interventions, monitoring the student’s progress, and collaborating closely with colleagues, guardians, and other stakeholders involved with the student.

Together with other professionals, you will actively participate in operational development and quality assurance efforts to continuously improve support services and work methods at Riksgymnasiet. Providing guidance to staff within the organization may also be part of the role.

About You

We are looking for a licensed psychologist interested in working in an environment where the development of young people is the focus. You have experience working with young people with disabilities, as well as providing individual counseling and conducting assessments of cognitive functions, intellectual disabilities, and neuropsychiatric conditions. Experience in habilitation and working in interprofessional teams is considered a plus.

Since collaboration with schools, residential facilities, guardians, and other stakeholders is a key part of the role, you need strong collaboration skills and the ability to easily build trusting relationships. You take initiative, work independently, and feel confident taking responsibility for your own cases, while also valuing being part of a team. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

The position requires a good command of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as strong digital skills for documentation and collaboration.

In accordance with the Act on Suitability Checks, an extract from the police criminal records must be presented upon hiring.

We look forward to receiving your application!
