Carlshöjdsskolan is located in a quiet area, close to woods and green areas. All students receive outdoor education. The school is a multicultural F-6 primary school and adapted primary school. In the adapted primary school, our students will study subjects and/or subject areas. There are approximately 350 students and the staff is divided into five teams. Our well-trained and dedicated teachers work to ensure that all pupils enjoy school and succeed in their studies. We are now looking for more student assistants for our adapted primary school! Employment information One post for a specific fixed-term contract, full-time. Two posts for special fixed-term contracts, part-time 50%. Extra work when needed, intermittent employment. All posts are available as soon as possible by agreement. Your tasks You will work as an adapted primary school resource alongside other resources and educators. As a resource in adapted primary school, you are present in the classroom to support the pupil in their learning, develop their language, experience engagement and develop autonomy (self-determination). You help the pupil to have the conditions to participate in collaborative learning, in different teaching situations, in the peer community, in everyday activities and in society. You work in close collaboration with your team and other educators at the school. Tasks may include helping pupils with the support they need in all learning situations in classrooms and other premises. It also includes being a helping hand in eating and toilet situations. It also includes accompanying and supporting swimming lessons. About you You are a confident adult and a good role model. You also have an ability to connect with students. You see each individual and create a safe environment in the school and collaborate with others to achieve set goals. As a person, you are flexible, clear and structured. You enjoy working with children with special needs as you are a very important part of their school day. You have good interpersonal skills, are responsive and find it easy to communicate and interact with pupils and other key professionals. You have a good ability to cooperate and have a professional approach to the children, relatives and other actors around the students. You are committed and have a willingness to share our values and work towards set goals and to work on continuous improvement. We attach great importance to your personal suitability. Requirements Successful completion of upper secondary education, preferably with a focus on care or children Valid extract from the criminal record Good knowledge of Swedish language in speech and writing Experience of working with children with intellectual disabilities Meritorious Trained childcare worker/pupil assistant or other educational training Knowledge of NPF diagnoses Knowledge of TAKK, AAC and accessible learning environment Knowledge of flame-effective treatment Welcome with your application today, we are recruiting continuously!
