The Upper Secondary and Adult Education Board is responsible for the municipality's obligations under school legislation for upper secondary school, adapted upper secondary school, municipal adult education, special education for adults and Swedish lessons for immigrants. Umevux SFI is part of the municipal adult education and is run under its own auspices in the Adult Education Center. The business is co-located with other adult education and support functions. Your duties

As an SFI teacher, you are responsible for teaching Swedish as a second language to newly arrived adults. The teaching is mainly conducted during the day, but evening classes may occur. The assignment also includes planning, implementation and follow-up of the teaching, assessment and grading as well as cooperation in teams with colleagues. Business development is a natural part of the service.

Together with teams and colleagues, you are involved in driving and developing the educational work based on the current curriculum and municipal goals.

You have the ability to individualize and vary teaching based on the needs of the students. You are a clear leader in the classroom with the ability to create structure, context and good relationships. Furthermore, you are confident in your professional role and enjoy quickly familiarizing yourself with new tasks. Requirements

• Trained teacher with at least 30 credits in Swedish as a second language
• Experience in teaching adults, preferably in SFI
• Unhindered knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

Meritande

• Training in teaching adults
• Training / experience in teaching students remotely via digital learning materials
