We at the Family Home Center work to recruit, investigate, match and train family homes to ensure that every child and young person placed outside the home receives the best possible care. We also work to recruit, investigate and match contact and support families for children and young people who need to stay outside the home. Our aim is to ensure high quality and access to the resources needed to support these young individuals.
We are now looking for two family home secretaries who want to contribute to our important work. With us, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference and work in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Your tasks
As a family home secretary, you will work with recruitment, investigation and matching of family homes, contact families and support families.
The tasks also include training and providing support to family homes and, according to a rolling schedule, being responsible for finding on-call homes. On-call work may involve working outside office hours. The work involves travel during the day and sometimes with overnight stays in connection with family homes to be investigated before the assignment or together with the child's social secretary during follow-up of the placement. Recruiting more family homes, contact families and support families is an outward-looking job that in some cases takes place in the evening or at weekends.
About you
As a person, you are structured, flexible, committed and responsive. You have good interpersonal skills at all levels and good communication skills, both verbal and written. The work requires a high level of initiative and the ability to work independently. Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
Requirements:
Degree in social work
Experience of working with children and young people within the social services' exercise of authority or as a provider
B driving license
Very good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

Experience of working with children and young people in care
Smoking and furry animals may be present in the homes of the families you visit, so it is good if you are not allergic.
