Are you the one? The first line is a team of 24 social workers and nine open preschool educators who have their workplace and affiliation linked to one of Umeå municipality's family centers.
The mission of the first line is to offer early and easily accessible support to children and young people and their families. This is an exciting and very varied job in a working group with competent and very committed and helpful colleagues.
We are now looking for a substitute social secretary for Ålidhem's family center!
Your work tasks
Working as a social secretary on the first line means that you are the social services' representative at the family center in the area and in various forums for collaboration, such as the Health-Learning-Safety Meeting (HLT meeting).
The assignment includes offering parental support through individual advice and support conversations to parents, individually designed interventions adapted to the family and parental support group activities. As the exercise of authority is included in the assignment, you will also investigate the needs of children and young people for support and protection. The focus of your work is to strengthen and develop the relationship between parents and children and other important adults in the children's lives. You will also help develop structures and strategies to ensure that the care and development needs of children and young people are met. Based on a family-centered approach, you work with the whole family and its network in collaboration with other actors who meet the target group.
The first line works according to Children's Needs in the Center (BBIC), which is a uniform system for investigation and follow-up for children and young people with the aim of conducting good quality social work based on knowledge, accessibility, continuity, participation and a holistic approach.
About you
We are looking for you who have a good ability to cooperate and take initiative. As a person, you should be able to see individuals from a holistic perspective and that you can work independently. The work has varied tasks with freedom under responsibility. It involves great challenges and the work can often be unpredictable and requires flexibility and the ability to reprioritize. It also involves very stimulating, meaningful and developing tasks with the opportunity to influence, together with colleagues in the team.
As the assignment includes investigating children and young people's needs for support and protection and carrying out support measures for children and young people and their families, it is important that you have a good ability to assess the right intervention at the right level and at the right time. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
Requirements:
Degree in social work
Experience in social work
B driving license
Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

Networking and systems perspective
Signs of safety
Parent support program, e.g. COPE or equivalent
Methods and working methods in support and treatment with a focus on child-youth and parental support
