The Income Support Unit works with families and individuals who apply for financial assistance to help them support themselves. so-called income support. We provide information about rights and obligations and investigate the right to financial assistance to those who apply for financial assistance. We work to help the individual with various measures that are designed in such a way that the individual can manage their own livelihood as soon as possible. The aim is for each person to be able to support themselves and thus live an independent life. The unit also handles estate cases. We are now looking for two social secretaries! Your work tasks As a social secretary within income support, you investigate and decide on financial assistance and handle estate cases. You provide information and advice to the public and in individual matters regarding the right to income support and other assistance. The role involves regular contact with both individuals and internal and external stakeholders. About you We are looking for someone who has a genuine commitment to people and an interest in how society works in general. To be able to work with a holistic perspective in your cases, it is important that you have good knowledge of the roles and regulations of other authorities and actors. You find it easy to establish and maintain contacts, and in your working methods you are solution-oriented, responsive, thorough and take responsibility. You express yourself fluently in Swedish in both speech and writing, work independently but are also a team player who also sees it as a matter of course to step in and support colleagues and operations when needed.
