The Center against Violence (CMV) offers support to those who live or have lived in close relationships where there is violence. This can include physical, psychological or sexual violence. The clinic for perpetrators of violence, the men's clinic, is part of CMV. The men's clinic provides support and treatment to those who have difficulty controlling their anger and/or have used some form of violence in a close relationship. The focus of the support is to stop the violence. The men's clinic offers individual counseling and group activities. At the clinic, you will also meet those who have purchased sexual services at the KAST clinic and those who are forced to practice violence in a context of honor. We are now looking for a social worker for the men's clinic! Your work tasks Your tasks consist of treatment-oriented conversations where you provide counseling, support and treatment in changing their behavior and choosing another path and the opportunity to process their experiences. You also work with partner contacts. The sessions are conducted both in groups and individually. Reasons for attending counseling can be: Difficulty controlling anger and aggression Having used some form of violence in a close relationship Not having used violence against someone, but fearing that it will happen Concerns about child abuse based on any of the above Purchase of sexual services The tasks also include providing information, advice and training to other activities within the municipality. About you We are looking for you who are a trained social worker or have an education that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience of having worked with violence issues and/or treatment in some form. It is an advantage if you have worked with manual-based treatment and with group activities and if you have knowledge of the ATV method, Utväg Skaraborg, Predov or other experience that the employer considers advantageous. It is desirable if you have experience of exercising authority within individual and family care and/or experience of leading group activities for men and women. You have good interpersonal and listening skills and express yourself clearly in speech. You are used to working with other professionals with different missions and are good at taking in different perspectives. Strong emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
