We have a shared strategy for education in our municipality: to create a cohesive educational pathway that contributes to greater equity, improved academic outcomes, and attractive educational opportunities. Here, all children, young people, and adults should have the opportunity to reach their full potential and develop their knowledge and skills. We know that this relies on dedicated, knowledgeable, and professional staff who provide high-quality instruction. We make a difference every day and are proud of our mission. We have Sweden’s most important job—our mission is to give young people hope for the future.
Hörnefors Central School is a K–9 school with approximately 400 students. The school is situated in a wonderfully beautiful location on the edge of the forest and just a stone’s throw from the sea. Here, there is access to a swimming pool, an artificial turf field, and ski trails. Our educational work is characterized by conscious leadership, commitment, and collaboration among staff, students, parents, and after-school programs. The focus is on safety and learning.
