Första linjen is a team of 24 social workers and nine preschool educators working at Umeå municipality's family centers. Our mission is to offer early and accessible support to children, young people and their families. The business is growing and developing - that is why we are now looking for another social worker/social secretary for Holmsund's family center who wants to make a real difference for children and families.
Your duties
As a member of the First Line, you work with support for children, young people and their families, individually and in groups. You also investigate children's needs, make decisions based on the Social Services Act and are responsible for planning, implementing and following up support measures.
Collaboration is a natural and important part of the assignment. You collaborate with internal and external actors around the child and family and represent the social services in collaboration forums, such as HLT (Health-Learning-Safety) and SSPF (School, Social Services, Police and Leisure). Together with other professionals, you work to create safe and sustainable solutions for children and young people.
The work of the First Line is characterized by a clear relationship-building focus. By building trusting relationships with those we meet, you contribute to strengthening families' own resources and ensuring that children's needs for care, security and development are met.
About you
We are looking for you who have good collaboration skills, take the initiative and see the individual from a holistic perspective. You need to be able to work independently and have the ability to prioritize in an everyday life that is sometimes unpredictable. The assignment on the first line requires a good ability to assess the right intervention at the right time. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
Requirements
- Socionomy degree
- Experience in social work
- Good knowledge of the activities of social services and other actors
- B-driving license
- Good knowledge of the Swedish and English language in speech and writing
