Storsjöskolan grades 4-9 is located in Holmsund, 1.5 miles outside Umeå. Holmsund is located in the archipelago with many beautiful scenic environments and excursion destinations. Your work tasks As a special needs teacher with us, you will: Work with an inclusive and special education approach. Contribute to the development of the school's learning environments and work with extra adaptations and special support. Work both individually and in groups with students in need of special support in various forms. Provide guidance and support to educators in their work with adaptations and differentiated instruction. Conduct surveys and assessments of pupils' needs Work in close and trusting collaboration with guardians, the school's other special educators and school management. About you We are looking for you who are trained as a special teacher or special educator and have 1-5 years of experience working in special education. As a person, we would like to see that you: Have a genuine commitment to student development and learning. Are solution-oriented and flexible in your work. Are confident in your professional role and have good collaboration skills. Are communicative and build trusting relationships with students, colleagues and guardians. Have a structured work style and the ability to independently drive processes forward. We would like you to attach a cover letter and CV. If you have a teaching license, please attach it.
