About the position
We are now looking for a deputy to our strategist with a focus on stormwater. You will play a key role in the municipality's work on climate adaptation - a work that aims to reduce vulnerabilities and create a long-term sustainable and robust society. Together with the municipality's climate adaptation strategist, you will coordinate Gator och Parker's work on climate adaptation in investment projects and planning processes.

Your work tasks
You will:
Coordinate the municipality's work on stormwater strategies and risks of flooding, landslides and landslides.
Model and prioritize measures and investment projects based on our stormwater strategy, landslide and avalanche risk assessment and cloudburst mapping.
Coordinate climate adaptation work within Streets and Parks.
Contribute with views in internal and external referrals, e.g. general and detailed plans.
You will also lead the municipality's coordination group for stormwater management. Together with the municipality's activities, you set goals and drive the work forward with a joint activity and action plan and compile the joint work so that it is accessible and manageable for politicians and citizens.
About you
We are looking for you who have:
A Master's degree or equivalent education in geohydrology, geoscience, hydrology or similar field. Alternatively, you have a degree in a similar field or equivalent experience that is considered equivalent.
Experience in stormwater management, climate adaptation in terms of stormwater management or risk assessment for natural disasters.
Project management experience including budget, time management and coordination.
Good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing.
We would like you to have experience of:
Development of innovative solutions to climate challenges.
Interdisciplinary work with different stakeholders, including authorities, companies and the public.
Modeling landslide and avalanche risks
Working according to standards and practices.
GIS for analysis and visualization of stormwater flows and landslide risks.
Understanding of laws and regulations governing stormwater management, climate adaptation and landslide risk assessment is an advantage.
We are looking for you who are a good communicator and can adapt to both technical and non-technical audiences. You have the ability to translate strategic objectives into concrete actions. You thrive on collaboration, take initiative and are organized with a good balance between a focus on details and a holistic perspective.
