We have about 600 students and 100 educators at the school. We have access to a full-time IT educator on the school campus and we constantly use technology as a tool in learning. The teachers at Hagaskolan are competent, committed and flexible. We know and show that all students can learn. We use a wide range of methods, tools and our good subject knowledge in our teaching. Teaching is carried out in collaboration with teachers, preschool teachers, subject teachers, special needs teachers, special educators, recreational educators and resource educators. Your tasks You will work as an assistant to a student in class, which means that you support the student in daily school work and help to create a safe and inclusive learning environment. During class time, you are also a resource for the whole class and collaborate with the teachers to provide support where needed. At the end of the school day, you will continue your work at the after-school club for grades 4-6, where the focus is on offering students a meaningful and active leisure time through planned activities and present adult support. The assignment involves close collaboration with the mentor and other educators on both the student's learning and social development. Together you create good conditions for the student's schooling and a safe leisure time. About you We are looking for you who have completed upper secondary education. It is an advantage if you are a trained childcare worker. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability. We are looking for you who are confident, patient and have a low-effective approach. You create structure and security, and meet the students with respect and calm. According to the law on suitability control, you are required to show an extract from the Police's criminal record before employment can begin.
