Hörnefors Central School is an F-9 school with around 400 pupils.
The school is beautifully situated on the edge of the forest and a stone's throw from the sea. There is access to a swimming pool, artificial grass pitch and ski tracks. The educational work is characterized by conscious leadership, commitment and cooperation between staff, students, parents and after-school activities. The focus is on safety and learning. We are now looking for a student assistant for our school!
Employment information
The position is a special fixed-term employment, full-time, starting as soon as possible by agreement until 2026-06-30. Possibility of extension may be relevant.
Your work tasks
As a student assistant, you provide individual support to students in their learning based on given instructions and contribute to a safe and inclusive learning environment. You collaborate with teachers and other staff around the student's needs and support students in structure, focus and participation in teaching. The role also includes being an adult support in the school's everyday life, a resource in the classroom and in the after-school program and, if necessary, participating during breaks or other activities. The tasks are adapted to the needs of the organization and the students.
About you
You are a confident adult and a good role model who can easily connect with students and see each individual. You create a safe and stimulating environment in the school and work effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals. As a person, you are flexible, clear and structured. You enjoy working with children with SEN and being an important part of their school day. You have good interpersonal skills, are responsive and communicate in a professional manner with pupils, relatives and other stakeholders around the pupils. You are committed, share our values and work towards set goals with a focus on continuous improvement. Personal suitability is very important to us.
Requirements
Qualified childcare worker or other educational training
Experience of working in a group of children or school
Valid extract from the criminal record
Good knowledge of Swedish language in speech and writing
Meritorious
Experience of working with children with NPF
