We are now looking for a student assistant for our school! Employment information The position is a special fixed-term position, full-time, starting as soon as possible, by agreement until 2026-06-12. Your tasks You will work as an educational resource in year 4, mainly attached to a student in need of special support. Together with the mentors in the year group, you design and implement the support that the student needs. As a resource in the class, you also contribute to the educational development of both the student you support and other students. You actively participate in teaching and work closely with the class teacher and other staff to create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment. The work involves adapting interventions to the student's needs, while encouraging independence and providing appropriate challenges for the student's further development. About you We are looking for you who have a high school diploma and experience of working with children or students who need extra care and / or special support. Experience of working with children with NPF is an advantage. We would like to see that you are a trained student assistant, childminder or have a behavioral science or educational education. You are a safe adult and a good role model. You also have an ability to connect with students. You see each individual and create a safe environment in school and collaborate with others to achieve set goals. As a person, you are flexible, clear and structured. You enjoy working with children with special needs as you are a very important part of their school day. You have good interpersonal skills, are responsive, and find it easy to communicate and interact with pupils and other key professionals in the target group. In order to develop the pupils' language skills, communicate with pupils, guardians and colleagues, as well as document and take part in the school's governing documents, you need to have a good knowledge of the Swedish language both in speech and writing.
