Västangårds skola is a F-9 school located in the scenic Umedalen, in the middle of the famous Skulpturparken. The school has around 450 students, from preschool to grade 9, and a staff of around 50 educators. Among other things, you will: Be a responsible and supportive role model for students in their daily school environment. Leading and participating in activities during breaks and in the after-school program to create a safe, meaningful and structured everyday life. Support pupils in teaching situations, during breaks and in targeted activities, both individually and in groups, according to their needs. About you We are looking for you who are a trained student assistant, childcare worker or have other equivalent education. You have previous experience of working with children and young people, preferably as a student assistant, leisure leader or similar profession in school / school childcare. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of the leisure home's curriculum and educational mission. You are calm and stable in your treatment. You are also sensitive to individual needs and conditions and can adapt accordingly. You must also be very clear and structured. In order for you to be able to develop the children's language skills and be able to communicate with children, guardians and colleagues, document and take part in the preschool's governing documents, you must have a good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.
