The Assistive Technology Service is an important part of Health and Medical Care for the Elderly in Umeå municipality and is responsible for the internal supply of assistive technology and the transportation of medicines. The assistive technology service employs assistive technology coordinators, assistive technology technicians, assistive technology coordinators and service resources. The starting point is Umeå Municipality's central storage facility at Lärlingsgatan 19. We are now looking for a service resource to join our team at the Central Storage, Assistive Technology Service. Your tasks You will deliver medicines between elderly care homes, short-term care homes, NUS and pharmacies. The deliveries are based on a driving schedule and when calls are received from the client / nurse, for example in the case of newly emerging drug needs. You will support and relieve the team with warehouse management and storage tasks where the task can be to pack orders for delivery and deliver aids to care homes. You will also work in the reconditioning process by, for example, handling materials to be cleaned. Examples of work tasks: Transporting medicines from pharmacies to care homes Purchasing/ordering Receiving deliveries Stock management and storage tasks About you We are looking for someone who is structured, responsible and flexible. You enjoy working independently and have good communication skills as the position involves contact with a large number of people. We attach great importance to personal suitability. In addition to this, you have: Secondary education Previous work experience, preferably in service/transport or warehouse Good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing, and good knowledge of English B-driving license Heavy lifting and smoking occur.
