What does the job involve?
In disability care, you work with people who have mental, physical and intellectual disabilities. Your mission is to strengthen the individual's ability to live as independent a life as possible.
Common tasks include supporting with everyday chores, leisure activities, social contacts, personal hygiene and medicine. You can work in group or service housing, short-term housing and short-term stay for children and young people, daily activities, housing support or in personal assistance.
The working hours vary depending on the activity and can be scheduled day, evening, weekend, day night and awake night.
