Navet is Umeå's largest swimming pool and adventure pool in the city center. We opened our doors in 2016 and in our modern premises we offer swimming, exercise, relaxation and experiences for everyone. We have about 50 employees and in the summer, the staff is also distributed to Umelagun, which is a temperate outdoor pool adjacent to Nydalabadet's beach located at the northern end of Lake Nydala. The Aquarena is located in Storsjöhallen in Holmsund. The bath has become known as a pleasant and personal family bath. Gym and group training are widely practiced, with a wide range of wellness activities. All of our facilities have our RE:AL restaurant concept where we prepare and serve both food and coffee. Your tasks As a pool attendant, you will work primarily with our most important mission; to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for our visitors. Your duties include, among other things, bathing surveillance, cleaning of our facility and work at the reception. At the reception, you are the face of our visitors, answer the phone, sell subscriptions, entrance fees and goods from our shop. In our restaurant RE:AL you prepare and serve food and coffee from our menu. Cashier work and cleaning are also included and you have an important role in ensuring correct food safety procedures. With us, the customer is always in focus and all our staff act as a link between the customer and the rest of the facility. This means that we are always available to the customer and have a flexible approach. You will either work in a varied way as a pool attendant/café staff or mainly in one of the departments. You will either work at Navet/Umelagun or in Holmsund at Aquarena. About you For the position as a pool attendant, we are looking for you who are able to swim, have work experience from the service industry and checkout experience. We look positively if you have experience working with children, as a swimming teacher and/or at a swimming facility. It is also a plus if you have worked with our BRP booking system. We train you in everything you need to know on site, but if you have training in CPR / D-HLR, lifesaving or pool lifesaving, it is an advantage. As swimming skills are a requirement as a pool attendant with us, in the recruitment process you will have to undergo a work test consisting of falling into deep water, swimming 200 meters of which 50 meters on your back, and diving down to 4 meters deep. For the position as café staff, we are looking for you who have work experience from the service industry and cash register experience. Here we see it as a merit if you have previous experience from the fast food industry and experience of our cash register system BRP. You are confident working independently as well as in teams and have good teamwork skills. You are also service-oriented and always strive to create the best possible experience for our customers. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. As communication internally and to a large extent externally takes place in Swedish, good knowledge of the language is a requirement.
