We have a shared strategy for education in our municipality: to create a cohesive educational pathway that contributes to greater equity, improved academic outcomes, and attractive educational opportunities. Here, all children, young people, and adults should have the opportunity to reach their full potential and develop their knowledge and skills. We know that this depends on dedicated, knowledgeable, and professional staff who provide high-quality instruction. We make a difference every day and are proud of our mission. We have Sweden’s most important job—our mission is to instill hope for the future in young people.
Linblommans School is a K–6 school located four kilometers southwest of downtown Umeå. A school that’s just the right size to make new friends, and just small enough for every student to be noticed! Here, digital tools are a natural part of our work. We also have our own on-site kitchen that uses a high proportion of organic ingredients and access to one of Umeå’s most modern sports halls.
