Disability care in Umeå municipality wants to be a resource that frees and strengthens people's ability to live an independent life in proximity and interaction. Grubbevägen is a group home under LSS for people with intellectual disabilities. The home has six apartments connected to common areas, which include an office and a day room. The individual support is mainly based on the individual's apartment. We now want to welcome two new employees to our business! Your tasks As a support and care worker, you will help users in their daily lives with practical tasks such as cleaning, laundry, cooking, personal hygiene, hobbies/activities and medication management. The work tasks also include administrative tasks, such as planning support measures, documentation, record keeping and drawing up implementation plans. Follow-up and evaluation are a natural part of the work. The role also includes contacts with other care providers, administrators and authorities. Your approach is characterized by flexibility, continuity and security. You offer individually tailored support, both social and practical, based on each individual's needs. Through a methodical, long-term and goal-oriented approach, you help to strengthen the user's abilities, participation and influence. Together with the users, you create a safe home environment and a meaningful everyday life. Co-planning occurs between our activities within the Disability Services. Threats and violence may occur at the organization. Working hours are day / evening / weekend and daytime. About you We are looking for you who have a genuine commitment to working with people and who are driven by developing the business together with colleagues and residents. You are curious and enterprising in your work with users and feel great rewards in the success of individuals. Furthermore, you are calm and confident in your role and follow routines to achieve good quality in your work. You have a professional approach to users, relatives and other actors around our users. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. To be able to communicate with users, relatives and colleagues, write and read care documentation and obtain medication, you must have a good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Requirements At least a high school diploma or health and social care education at Komvux level Experience of working in LSS B-driving license, as the business has access to a minibus that you will drive to various efforts and activities Meritorious Trained assistant nurse, care assistant, social worker or other educational education we consider relevant to the service Experience of clarifying pedagogy, visual support and/or TAKK Experience of cooking Experience of documentation and implementation plans Other information To ensure that the people invited to interview are those who best match what we are looking for, we use selection questions.
