
We are now looking for a support assistant for Aros Bak and Indoor Activities!
Aros is a daily activity program consisting of several units, most of which are located in the same building in Carlshem, but we also have a group based in the Nydala area. The target group has neuropsychiatric disabilities, mental health issues, and/or co-occurring conditions. Other disabilities as well as varioussubstance use disordersare also present.
Daily activities are intended to contribute to personal development and promote participation in society based on the participant’s needs and circumstances. The activities should include habilitation, opportunities for development, and production-oriented tasks. This is to enable meaningful employment in accordance with current legislation. The overall goal of daily activities is to develop the individual’s independence, create a sense of purpose, and provide opportunities for work.
At Aros Bak and Inomhustrivsel, participants work on household tasks such as baking,washing dishes, cleaning, and laundry. We deliver snacks based on orders from private individuals, associations, and companies.
Your Responsibilities
You will plan, structure, support, supervise, and develop assignments and work tasks based on each individual’s needs, with the goal of creating a meaningful and stimulating daily routine. The work is characterized by flexibility, development, and security.
You will also be responsible for various administrative tasks, such as documentation, record-keeping, and drawing up implementation plans. Follow-up and evaluation are a natural part of the work process. We particularly value the ability to interact with the target group in a professional and respectful manner. Another key part of the role is to lead and work alongside participants to fulfill various client requests, with a focus on creating favorable conditions for increased independence and participation.
The program employs the following structured methods:
- Heavy lifting is involved; mobility aids must be used
- Smoking occurs in the workplace, so you should not have allergies
- Joint planning with other disability care services may occur
About You
You have strong collaboration skills and a professional demeanor toward participants, family members, and other stakeholders. You are committed, share our values, and work in a goal-oriented manner with a focus on continuous improvement. Since the program includes many different activities, it is important that you have a strong sense of initiative, are curious, and can make independent decisions. You must also be able to actively participate in outdoor activities regardless of the weather and handle physically demanding tasks when necessary. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
To communicate with clients and colleagues, as well as to write and review care documentation, you must have a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
